We are currently seeking an Assistant Payroll Administrator
Qualities/Skills;
Grade 12 Certificate
Pastel Payroll Competency
2 to 3 years and upwards working experience in a similar role.
Experience working with high volumes of salaries.
MS Office
Payroll processing experience.
Communication skills - verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Planning and organizing ability
Ability to collect information, analyse and manage
Problem solving skills
Ability to maintain employee confidentiality
Your responsibilities will include;

Monitor and maintain weekly employee hours/timesheets
Process salary and Wages
Collect, compile and enter payroll data using appropriate software
Review and verify source documents
Calculate and post payroll deductions
Process payroll by established deadlines
Issue statements of earnings and deductions
Reconcile employee deductions
Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors
Update payroll records by recording changes including insurance coverage, loan payments, salary increases
Process new employees, terminations, transfers and promotions
Prepare and print payroll reports of earnings, hours worked, taxes, insurance, leave
Assist in addressing employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information
Complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications
Assist in maintaining comprehensive payroll records
Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
