Payroll Administrator

The Ideal Candidate : Qualifications : Grade 12 (NQF 4) Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Accounting or Payroll Administration or similar would be preferred Experience : 2 years’ payroll administration experience within a large organisation. Experience on SAP payroll Skills: Payroll Policies and Procedures Financial Reporting. Computer Literacy. Priority and Time Management. Duties and Responsibilities: Capture data onto the payroll system to meet payroll deadlines. Process data entries of new hires and terminations ensuring all appropriate documentation and approvals are received. Maintain payroll records by reviewing and entering changes into the system and ensure that all required data is captured accurately and timeously to meet payroll deadlines. Assist with all payroll queries including, pay requisitions and payroll deductions. Process adjustments for back-dated rate increases, consultant changes, etc. Prepare reports for payroll statistics and submit to the Manager: Payroll Accounting, and compile and verify month end reports. Prepare payments for HR creditors. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date payroll filing system. info@mecs.co.za
