Sales Order Clerk

Duties & Responsibilities • Capturing of orders. • Checks inventory to make sure requested product is available. • Computes price and any appropriate discounts • Handles customer complaints via telephone or email. • Prepares invoices and picking slips • Verifies customer information is correct and up-to-date. • Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments. • Informs customer of delivery date and any possible delays. • Notifies appropriate department of order and dispatch date. • Reviews orders for accuracy and completion • Strives to sell customer additional merchandise • Files copies of all orders received. • Assist walk-in customers with cash sales. Desired Experience & Qualification Computer literate (Excel, Word and Outlook) Syspro system - experience essential Strong and effective communicator. Minimum of 3 years-experience in similar position Matric.
