Audit Manager

Duties & Responsibilities In order to be considered the following is required: CA(SA) 3-5 yrs’ exp post articles. Knowl of TeamMate, Caseware, Draftworx will be adv. Analytical skills , an eye for detail Report writing skills and presentation skills Planning and organisational skills. Ability to understand broader business issues Commun and presentation skills Responsibilities: Planning of the audit including budgeting Ensure completion of Audits on time Review and Assess completion of Audit engagements within budget Liaising with clients including presentation to the Audit and Risk committee. Co-ordinate with management to take necessary action on audit findings Integrate best practises and systems into the audit programs. Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions. Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams Complete LTS reports including ANAs Where required provide/facilitate training of staff Ensure compliance with internal (Audit methodology and risk management) and external regulatory requirements Up to date working knowledge of Auditing standards and IFRS Providing technical auditing training to staff Assist in identifying revenue growth opportunities within the component and optimise its operational expenditure Business Development including tendering and writing business proposals.
