Superintendent Security Investigations

Manage the Protection Services investigative response to realised and potential security and crime risks and manage security information needs to address identified threats to the company. Developing action plans and managing investigative resources. Giving effect to the full case management principles inherent in investigative work, from initiation, investigation, prosecution, recommendation of remedial action and close out. Deploying specialized investigative technology, to conduct investigations into security breaches and losses. Managing the collection, collation, analysis of crime and security information, including special project driven investigations. Administrating the operational and governance processes pertaining to investigative responses. Must have: Tertiary qualification relevant to security or law; Registered with the PSIRA; 5-10 years’ experience as a senior investigator within the mining environment; Proven track record in the investigation of the various criminal threats including white collar crime, precious metals, non-ferrous metals and property related cases; demonstrate ability for high level report writing in English; ability to lead an extensive multi-disciplinary and diverse investigative team, including working with co-sourced business partners and forensic experts ; Advanced occupational courses in investigation discipline from a recognized institution will be advantageous. jobs@gmctalent.co.za
