Sales Manager

Retail company within the homeware industry seeks a Sales Manager to grow the product portfolio in selected retail stores. Min req Qual and Skills: Three to five years retail experience. Own reliable transport essential. Strong negotiating skills. Your duties will include, but not be limited to Achievement of sales targets and objectives against quarterly and annual targets. Development and implementation of sales and customer growth plans, strategies and action plans. Increase sales and growth in market share through targeted sales and marketing activities. Advising and reporting on channel performance Development and facilitation of trade marketing activities. Providing sales planning, forecasts and projections to ensure full availability Build and grow customer relationships. Develop and implement customer promotion and sales activity plans Identify new opportunities and monitoring market developments in order to identify and assess potential new customers and opportunities Trading term negotiations Skills & Competencies: Business planning Sound commercial knowledge Experience with large retailers will be an advantage. Knowledge and demonstrated delivery in challenging trading environment, understanding of channel and strategy development. Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
