Credit Manager

Duties & Responsibilities EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Relevant B Degree - Essential. Minimum 7 - 10 years credit experience, with 2 - 3 years in a managerial role. Drivers Licence Car Rental Industry acumen - desirable In-depth knowledge of credit management principles. Knowledge of National Credit Act. Knowledge of Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI) Basic knowledge of LRA and BCEA Knowledge of collection systems. Basic knowledge of contracts JOB RESPONSIBILITY: Managing Accounts Receivable supervisors Debtors Management and Reporting Perform affordability analysis in line with National Credit Act. Analyse arrears and determine plan of action for collection on a monthly basis. Calculate arrears percentages for each Segment and Department. Ensure that the legal process has been followed, sign off on suspension of accounts and communicate with relevant stakeholders Review credit limits and that application forms are correctly completed and signed by authorised principals of business Signing off various General Ledger and Credit Account recons monthly. Compile quarterly bad debt provision report Regular team meetings and attend relevant sales and board meetings. Manage the employment recruitment onboarding, team performance, incentives and general morale Package & Remuneration R R44000pm - R55000pm Monthly plus Medical, Provident contribution, cell allowance and company car. debbie@dglhr.co.za
