Accounts Clerk

Skills: - Fluency in English, Numeracy skills, Accuracy Abilities: - Relate well to people, Typing, MS Word & Excel, Working knowledge of Accpac accounting programme, Problem solving, Initiative, Assertive yet tactful, Able to work with minimal supervision, Good telephone manner and follow up effectively on queries, Competent all rounder also being able to work individually and in groups. Education: - Matric or Grade 12. Qualifications: - Accounting or business qualification preferable. Experience: - Minimum of 2 years working in accounts. Duties (including but not limited to): -Full function of accounts receivables, from collecting data to sending out statements. Handling of accounts receivables queries, Receipting of donations, Reconciliations of Accounts worksheets, Preparing monthly orders, Monitoring stock levels, Incorporating a menu, Collecting delivery notes to orders, Preparation for annual audit, Typing of letters/reports etc, General admin tasks, Relief switchboard, backup counting and banking of teddy tins, Backup Cashbook and Creditors clerk. Other: - Non smoker - Professional and polite manner - Approachable and empathetic. - Confidential & honest.
