GENERAL MANAGER - GROUP SALES

Purpose of the Job 

  • Senior Executive position to lead the Group’s Sales and Marketing strategic growth and ensure that the profitable sales and marketing goals and objectives are achieved through, an empowered team and the efficient deployment of cross-functional processes and resources

Reporting to: Finance Director 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve the 3-5year Sales and Marketing Strategy Roadmap for approval of the Directors and align to available capacity strategy and Develop and document clear Marketing Strategy that supports the Sales strategy
  • Develop well defined and documented 18 month rolling Sales operational plans for each Market by Customer by Product (Sales pipeline/funnel process)
  • Prepare and present annual Sales and Marketing revenue and expense budgets for board approval. Including regular updates as required
  • Responsible for Group Sales Volume Targets and Net Sales Targets to ensure achievement of profitable sales
  • Maintain and improve Sales and Marketing processes to ensure efficient and integrated business approach
  • Implement and manage a CRM process (Customer Contact matrix)
  • Achievement of Customer Service Metrics (Survey based):
  • Provide Directors with visible sales metrics that will demonstrate; Efficiency and Effectiveness of the Sales and Marketing Team (against defined metrics)
  • Responsible for leading and developing the Sales and Marketing Team
  • Manage relevant health and safety requirements pertaining to sales and marketing environment

Qualification and Experience

  • Marketing / Project Management or Equivalent Qualification 
  • Minimum 10 years in a Senior Executive role (preferably Sales bias, with marketing):Projects managements related industry
