Introduction A company in the manufacturing industry based in Durban has a Stores Controller vacancy available. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure stores employees work efficiently including packers. Ensure materials are located accurately. Ensure materials are safely guarded and meet all Health and Safety aspects. Ensure that controls and procedures meet financial audit standards. Stock is controlled, Allocation of stock to the factories, Picking and packing stock, Loading trucks and receiving goods. Ensure the stores operates as per the company procedure P854. Ensure the material is received as per company procedure P851 1 Ensure there is a First In – First Out system. Develop relations with productions management and supervisors and quality control. Ensure that employee perceptions are positive Ensure employees are trained in their job functions. The Stores controller has the authority to liaise with all stakeholders. Desired Experience & Qualification Matric. A relevant qualification would be an advantage. Minimum 2 years of current experience in the same role. Able to work overtime when needed.
