Merchandise Coordinator

Duties & Responsibilities As a Merchandise Coordinator you will act in support of the Merchandising function by taking responsibility for the following: Capture and maintain product and/or order information on relevant internal systems Track delivery of orders and sample management throughout all supplier channels. Assist with allocations, consolidations and order queries. Communicate information from suppliers to all relevant internal departments and assist in the resolution of order related queries. Building effective relationships with international suppliers. Other key performance expectations would include, but not limited to: The execution of ad-hoc tasks which help key merchandising processes and ensure adherence to important deadlines. Take initiative and identify problems, generates alternatives and recommendations within defined processes. Desired Experience & Qualification Essentials for success in this role: Relevant qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience obtained in a retail/import/wholesale environment. careers@retaildetail.co.za
