Assistant Operations Manager

BEE, R25000 Food production factory is recruiting for a qualified person to manage various production facilities and ensure that production targets are met. Manage and develop a team of production staff and achieve business growth. Effectively communicate with customers on a technical level and ensure customer needs are aligned with the plant’s. -Oversee the implementation of safety and quality systems. -Ensure that Health and Safety Regulations are met within the department and in the factory -Manage costs and expenditure. -Implement an appropriate maintenance programme to ensure equipment availability -Manage equipment flows. -Review processes and policies of operation manual Req: -Production management: 8yrs (Pref) -Degree in Production Management / Engineering /Operations/Production/Manufacturing/Industrial Eng/Food Technology MBA or Management Development Programme qualification. Budget management exp Knowledge of health, safety, compliance & quality systems & standards (ISO9001) 5 -10 yrs exp in a food manufacturing environment Must have Controlled Product Quality Assurance exp. Must have exp in optimising Plant, Machinery & Equipment. improvement project implementation will be required,familiarity with principles of lean manufacturing will be advantageous.
