Project Manager

Key responsibilities and tasks  Manage project process, planning, procurement, implementation and review. (Manufacturing / Engineering)  Preparation of tenders from inception phase of project  Prepares and manages project financial budgets  Contract preparation, selection and management of third-party suppliers  Share best practice and contribute to setting new standards / procedures  Motivates, develops and coaches junior project staff  Stakeholder management including claims and negotiation  Ensure adherence to company and customer policies and procedures Minimum requirements and qualifications  ND Mech. Engineering (minimum) or BSc (Eng) Degree  Formal Project Management qualification will be an advantage  Knowledge of the Sugar Industry and the Mining, Paper, Utility & Petrochemical Industries  Strong commercial background. FIDIC knowledge would be an advantage.  Sound Technical/Engineering background and drawing interpretation Experience  5 years multi-million-rand turnkey Project Management  Computer literacy: MS projects, MS office  Good administrative and communication skills  Negotiation skills.
