As a Cashier, you will assist with the processing of cheques and payments. You'll also liaise with customers and branches while maintaining a high level of customer service. When required you will also assist with ad hoc duties. Key Responsibilities  Checking and processing cheques, BACS and Chaps payments.  Control and reconciliation of petty cash.  Preparation of daily banking.  Payment Processing  Reconciliation of the cashiers' suspense account  Daily reconciliation and banking of receipts  Ad hoc duties as required, including occasional cover for treasury analysis and investment decisions  Providing Branches with Credit Management level of Support.  Liaising with Customers and Branches  Maintain high level of customer service  Good housekeeping to promote an efficient working environment.  Assist with the allocation of customer receipts to ensure deadlines are met Skills and Experience.  Good telephone manner.  Accurate keyboard skills.  Sound literacy and numeracy skills.  Experience with working with Microsoft packages Excel, Word and Outlook.  Methodical and well organised.  Teamwork is essential as in the ability to work on own initiative.  Excellent Communication skills.
