Field Support Engineer – Level 2

Main Purpose of the job The Field Support Engineer role is to support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. That includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via work order) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. Education and Experience required: • Grade 12 (NQF level 4) • National Information Technology Diploma or equivalent . • Comptia A+ and Comptia N+ certification • Windows 10 certification • ITIL V3/4 foundation. • Office 365 • MCSE (advantage) • CCNA (advantage) • English Proficiency • IT field support experience – minimum of 3 years. • Advanced IT technical knowledge • Driver’s License with own vehicle.
