JUNIOR DUTY MANAGER

Key Responsibility Areas: Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. Managing restaurant and bar staff and ensuring staff are meeting standards within the department Have a good understanding of cost controls and practicing them. Responding to customer complaints during shift Ensuring you are visible on the floor at all times Reporting any maintenance issues and following up on them Ensuring that restaurant and bar staff adhere to the company’s uniform standards and that waiters have relevant tools on them at all times. Able to assist in stock controls where necessary Core Competencies / Characteristics required for this position: Fluent in English Good Food, Wine & Beverage Knowledge Ability to communicate with guests easily and comfortably. Must be professional Must be presentable and be able to be an ambassador for the Hotel Good Memory Understanding of customer satisfaction Leadership Skills. Administrative & Organisation Skills. Drivers Licence & Own Transport – Preferable As this is a position of honesty and integrity, the successful candidate should possess a positive credit and criminal history as per our client’s requirements.
