Pastry Demi Chef

Main Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure guest satisfaction and that requests are met consistently. Good knowledge of patisserie/desserts, breads, baking, cooking styles, hygiene and safety standards Ensure that allocated section is always kept clean and all prep is completed. Menu planning and costing Judging quality of raw material and providing quality finished products. Ensure that the quality and quantity standards of bakery / pastry preparations and presentations are adhered to in the section. Required Qualifications & Experience. Graduate from a Hotel Management Institute or Food Production Course from a reputed institute specialising in Patisserie and Bakery – Advantageous 3 to 5 years relevant experience. Specialised Pastry Courses will be an advantage Team & Goal Orientated. As this is a position of honesty and integrity, the successful candidate should possess a positive credit and criminal history as per our client’s requirements.
