Commis CDP Hot or Cold Section

Our client is seeking to employ a Chef De Partie, in the hot or cold department, to join their team in Cape Town City Centre. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure guest satisfaction and that requests are met consistently. Good knowledge of cooking styles, hygiene and safety standards. Ensure that allocated section is always kept clean and all prep is completed Menu planning and costing Judging quality of raw material and providing quality finished products. Ensure that the quality and quantity standards are adhered to in the section. Creating new and innovative menu items Planning and organising. Supervise and guide staff as required Deputise in the absence of senior chefs Follow prescribed and ensure adherence to standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Required Qualifications & Experience: Graduate from a Hotel Management Institute or Food Production Course. 3 to 5 Years Relevant Experience Team & Goal Orientated. As this is a position of honesty and integrity, the successful candidate should possess a positive credit and criminal history as per our client’s requirements. Salary – Negotiable depending on experience.
