DUTIES Ensure the execution of warehouse departmental strategy. Ensure that the departmental strategy is revisited from time to time to ensure alignment with business needs. Interpret the department operational strategy into simplified procedures for easy reference by general staff members. Manage the interfaces between different sections within the warehousing department. Ensure the development of annual warehouse departmental plan as well as the budget for the department. Ensure the mid to long term material process plan. Ensure deployment and availability of materials and resources to the various departments within the business. Manage rotation and accurate control of inventory. Manage and report on the cost and expenditure in the warehouse department. Ensure compliance to health, safety and quality regulations. Ensure that the business is able to run smoothly with respect to food preparation and production by providing the required materials at the required time. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE: Five years Management experience. Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Material Management. Management experience in the Airline industry and / or international experience within the supply chain or warehouse environment. Experience within a fast moving and changing work environment such as FMCG, manufacturing or industrial catering. Driver’s license and own transport. Must have experience in leading a team of employees.
