Retail Inventory Controller

Tasks: Participate in carrier selection, qualification and performance evaluation Establish and maintain realistic supply-chain based performance deadlines, lead times etc. Manage the reconciliation of OOR against purchase order identifying irregularities and highlighting this to the Planners. Manage the delivery of samples to Head Office as necessary maintaining responsibility for this inventory until signed over to the relevant merchant Split Purchase Orders to reflect shipping inventory and communicate this to all parties. Establish shipment plan and identify consolidation opportunities for cost reduction based on OOR reconciliation. KILLS & COMPETENCIES: Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management – Would be an advantage. Good knowledge of the retail environment with regards to ensuring stock is in the right place at the right time (Retail Supply Chain) Previous experience with importing, Forex and Letter of Credit. Excellent IT skills - MS Office (Advanced Excel) and strong experience in the use of ERP systems. Self-motivated, independent with a positive attitude Good financial, analytical, contract knowledge and negotiation skills.
