IT Manager

DUTIES: Manage, guide and refine software delivery processes in a dynamic organisation. Engage with Directors, business and technical personnel. Reporting into the Technical Director. Manage scheduling of resources to facilitate timeous service delivery. Engage with business to manage expectations. Manage the output of the IT team and what they can deliver. Critically assess business and technical specifications for clarity and completeness. Drive process standards within the business. Bridge the divide between the legal and the software side of the business. REQUIREMENTS: Juniper JNCIA and or Juniper JNCIS. Cisco CCNA and or Cisco CCNP. Mikrotik MTCNA/MTCRE/MTCINE. 3-7 Years’ experience in a similar role. ISP or telecommunications background. Layer 2 protocols such as Vlans and including QinQ / Selective QinQ to support an open access fibre network. IPv4 and IPv6 addressing and subnetting. Routing protocols, e.g. OSPF and BGP. Routing filters. Tunneling, e.g. EOIP / PPTP etc. Brands such as Juniper, Mikrotik, Cisco, Dell, HP, Ubiquiti. ATTRIBUTES: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Proven organisational and administration skills. Able to perform under pressure. Customer service orientated.
