Receptionist - Cape Town

Our client, a leader in fully integrated Records and Information Management (RIM), is seeking to employ a dynamic Receptionist for their Cape Town Branch. (Airport Industria) 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Directs call to the required person, or decides on the most appropriate person for responding to specific questions.
  • Provides information about the establishment such as location of departments, offices or employees within the organisation, or services provided.
  • Receives and directs all visitors to the correct locations.
  • Performs adhoc general administrative duties.
  • Management of the reception area, welcome guests, manage switchboard, liaise with couriers, suppliers and contractors
  • Management and booking of meeting rooms for Management, ensure that all equipment etc. required for meetings are checked and in working prior to the meeting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Post Matric Certificate/Diploma in Customer Service//Administration/ Human Resources
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative, receptionist, switchboard or front office position
  • Code 08 drivers licence and own vehicle will be an advantage
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Must be computer literate

Salary: R5 000 – R7 000
