Financial Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in the Logistics Environment and Payroll will be an advantage
  • Excel, Power Point and Pastel Evolution
  • Listed entity experience will be an advantage
  • B.Com (Hons) or newly qualified CA (SA) with 5 years experience
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, Financial Management, Accounting principles and Cost Accounting
  • SAICA Articles compulsary
  • Market related salary on offer

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Perform with preparation of timeous monthly management accounts and audit packs
  • Assist/ Performing timeous mid/year-end and monthly results
  • Assist internal and external auditors with audits/queries
  • Performing/checking of monthly reconciliations
  • Performing of daily operational tasks within the Divisions/Group of Companies
  • Assist in Debtors Reconciliation and collections of debtors
  • Review of work performed by team members and manage a team
  • Checking Fixed Asset Register and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements/ Group Standards
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards
  • Ad hoc accounting and finance matters
  • Strong system/reporting skills and project management experience
