Reservations Manager

Main Duties & Responsibilities
To monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions how these could be implemented.
Manage service levels and response times.
Knowledge and consistent application of reservations system, policies and procedures.

Manage and overseeing Reservations personnel.
Monitoring Front Office activities regarding billing instructions and compliance with hotel credit policies.
Allocate rooms; ensuring VIP guests are allocated applicable room types.
Attend Revenue meetings and implement strategies with reservations team.
Continuously endeavors to improve the department’s efficient operation.
Communication with the Sales department regarding VIP reservations.
Manage rostering & payroll.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Previous hospitality reservations experience.
Diploma/Degree from a reputable hotel school.
