Brand Manager

Specific Outputs

  • Manages relationships with various suppliers to the Marketing Function
  • Identify gaps in the market, either on a Trade distribution level or for new product development opportunities
  • Developed promotional material and managed distribution of material into Trade
  • Controlled brand budget and sourced Cost Estimates for presentation to Marketing Manager
  • Interpret sales data, such as Nielsen's, and report on opportunities, threats or weaknesses to Marketing Manager

Required Experience

  • 5-6 years marketing experience including FMCG experience

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing

Primary Objectives of the Position

  • Assist in the development of a brand communication plan and the execution of this plan.
  • Position will work closely with internal teams such as product development, operations, distribution and sales.
  • Externally, liaison with advertising agencies and below-the-line activation agencies will be required.
  • Reports to a Marketing Manager.
