Coil Applications Engineer

Tech Sales Engineer. Sales & tech support of heat exchangers & refrigeration systems solutions. New business develop in the Western Cape & Coastal regions. RESPONSIBILITIES • Coil & system selection, application & optimization in line with Client requirements o Design & rate coils &/or systems using Unilab & Technisolve. o Select fans & distributors. o Calc cost of coils, sheet metal & projects o Select liquid line components o Heat load calc & air flow o Line sizing o Design & select racks, packs, comp, control & drives. o Program & set up rack & evap control & drives • Assist in developing & executing sales growth strategy o Find & service existing & potential clients. o Pursue & sell to 6 new clients every six months o Supply quotes within 24 hours & follow up. o Contact Clients by telephone, e-mail & in person to maintain sales relationship. o 6 client visits per week. o Contact consultants once a week & visit monthly. o Manage & achieve monthly targets. • Provide Tech solutions/quotes & proposals to clients • Liaise with consultants & submit tenders as required. • Liaise with refrigeration contractors & provide tech solutions • Offer turnkey solutions: cabinets, heat exchangers, cold rooms, plumbing, water loop & related equipment. • Project manage “bespoke” special sales orders & projects • Client support. • Identify & drive new product requirements • Drive tech sales support docs.
