Field Support Engineer

ENVIRONMENT: A leading retail giant seeks a Field Support Engineer II to join its team in Bloemfontein. Your core role will be to ensure continuous IT infrastructure service delivery for IT users through timely installations and resolving issues. The ideal candidate will require Matric/Grade 12, Certifications in A+, N+, MCSE, at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, be skilled in Microsoft products such as Windows, Office Suite, etc., TCP/IP Networking, G Suite including Gmail, Sheets, Docs and Incident Management of end user store devices. DUTIES: Incident Management of end user store devices. Setup, configure and install end point devices, i.e. desktops and POS. Manage infrastructure vendors, i.e. cabling, UPS, Voice, Data, end point installations. Manage the new store opening process. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – Matric / Grade 12. A+, N+, MCSE Certification. Experience/Skills – 2-3 Years in IT Field Support. Microsoft products i.e.: Windows, Office Suite, etc. Network topologies, support and setup thereof. TCP/IP Networking. G Suite, i.e. Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc. ATTRIBUTES: Adapt and cope. Supportive and cooperative. Analytical and able to interpret. Organised and able to execute. Leadership and decisive.
