Portfolio Manager KZN (EE)

  • You will  sell, promote and market the company's products and services to the company's brokers in the Kwa-Zulu Natal area.  
  • Develop and grow business opportunities from an existing base of approximately 60 brokers as well as identify and unlock business from some new brokers.
  • Main liaison between the company's internal operational staff and the brokers.
  • Assist brokers in growing their book by writing profitable new business and will assist internal problem and complaints resolution. 
  • Performance will be measured against sales targets, portfolio performance and loss ratios, aw ell as the development of professional relationships.
  • Travelling - Nationally and away from home for a couple of nights

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • NQF 4 in Short Term Insurance
  • NQF 5 in Short Term Insurance (ADV)
  • RE 5 
  • DOFA Ess
  • MS Office
  • Advanced Product knowledge in Short Term Insurance - Personal and Commercial Lines
  • 3 years commercial insurance experience - Essential
  • Relevant work experience within the Short term Insurance Sales Sphere - advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of current market trends within the Industry, external factors that could impact the business as well as a sound understanding of competitor product offerings.
