Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy.

This company requires a strong individual that is proactive, hardworking and organized. The successful incumbent will be required to control and maintain all aspects of the warehouse and must have extensive experience in stock control to minimise stock losses and accurately manage a high stock turnover.

Requirements:

  • Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
  • Computer literacy - all MS Office packages
  • Minimum 2 years Management experience with excellent knowledge of electrical supplies, equipment and components
  • Manage all Warehouse operations (staff, administration, sales, stock control)
  • Must have excellent staff management skills, will be required to actively manage and monitor all staff
  • Must be proficient in all warehouse administration duties example accurate printing and controlling delivery notes
  • Ensure correct stock is dispatched according to delivery documentation
  • Ensure correct stock levels are maintained and order new stock when required
  • Accurately Manage stock take preparations, stock take activities and cycle counts
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service by professionally addressing logistic queries ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Drive performance and service culture in the warehouse
  • Coordinate administrative processes ensuring all administration work is accurate, up to date and correctly filled and allocated correctly
  • Attention to detail coupled with strong planning skills
  • Ideal incumbent must be a well-spoken, friendly, people’s person, as Staff and client liaison, dispute resolution
