Description of business:

If you have been a Junior Manager in a Restaurant and seeking a great growth path in your career, or if you have natural leadership abilities, you are the person we are looking for.  My client who owns a variety of Restaurants as part of a leading Franchise Group in South Africa is seeking for individuals who is not scared of work, and understands the guest relations industry.

Requirements:

  • Honest and ready to work.
  • No nonsense attitude.
  • Willing to grow in the group.
  • Learn and blend in with the current team.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Fantastic peoples person, that loves working with the public and demand high client satisfaction.
  • Please no clock watchers as this is the restaurant industry.
  • Own transport is essential due to late hours.

Main responsibilities highlighted:

Training and developing of the Junior Managers and waitressing staff. Review of position to be done in 6 months.

Key Skills:

  • MUST be a peoples person, and wanting to please people.
  • Computer literacy is key.
  • Understanding financial statements.
  • Good communication skills so that training and development can take place.

Benefits:

Possible promotion within the first 6 months, and all training and development done by owners.

Working Hours:

Please note this set on a roster, and flexibility is key for applicants.
